Due to the large Asian community in Bradford and the
surrounding area Private Detective Bradford have many cases involving the
younger Asian population. We have recently been involved in a case of a missing
young woman who was due to take part in an arranged marriage. She knew the
young man involved and had agreed to this wedding years before, however she had
met and fallen in love with another man and wished to marry him instead. Our client
denied his daughter permission and said that it would dishonour the family if
she disobeyed him.

As the wedding date was approaching the girl became more and
more of a recluse staying in her bedroom and only going out to go to work.
After she had left out client found out that she was sneaking out of her
bedroom window at night to be with her boyfriend. She was saving as much money
as she could so she could run away with her boyfriend before the wedding.

Our client believes that they could have married in a
registry office and that was what he wished us to find out. He had not informed
the family of the arranged marriage groom that his daughter had run away in the
hope that she might return and save him from shame.

Through an in depth investigation which included questioning
friends of both the missing daughter and her boyfriend, searching all registry
office notice boards and searching our extensive databases and many other
processes within the public domain we were quite successful in finding the truth.
We provided our client with the information we had gathered in a report. The
report pleased our client greatly as he learnt that the groom had run away as
well as his daughter. His daughter, her boyfriend the groom and his girlfriend
had run away together and both couples got married to the people they wanted to
marry. He was no longer shamed and his daughter was happy.
